Doug Hickok is the President of the Happy Workplace Consulting Group. He has more than twenty years of experience as a leadership development expert for organizations large and small.

As a part of that work, he is also an executive coach with The Honor Foundation, an MBA-level transition program for Special Forces Operators who are moving from military to civilian careers.

Doug is a Certified Imago Educator (psychology and communication), and a nationally known author, trainer and speaker. He is the author of the Amazon best-selling book, The Pursuit of Happiness at Work, and also wrote, You Can Succeed with Your Great Business Idea.

Doug has taught in the Executive Education program at the Management Institute of the Robins school of business, University of Richmond, in Richmond, Virginia, and he also worked for the university as a coach and program facilitator for its client companies.

He is trained in the organizational design practice of Appreciative Inquiry for whole-system growth and change, and has coordinated numerous successful whole-company and departmental initiatives using this dynamic, positive process.

Doug Hickok is a member of the International Association of Coaching, the Association for Talent Development, and the Academy of Management.
